Slat Chain conveyors, also called Chain Plate conveyor or Plate link conveyor, use parallel chains to drive the slats to carry and transport materials. Polymer slats are used extensively in food and beverage manufacturing, and in light industrial applications. Steel slats are used in heavy duty or high impact applications, usually at low speed.
