Cultural Journey, full of Joy- A Two-day Short Trip to Qufu and Taierzhuang
In May 7th and 8th, our company has organized all employees enjoyed a short trip to Qufu and Taierzhuang. The main purpose of this activity is to allow all workers to relax and adjust their minds by contacting with the natural beauty of Spring, deeply influenced with traditional Confucian culture, and be inspired by the resilient and indomitable spirit of modern Chinese miliary, therefore increasing the cohesion of our team.
1st Stop. Qufu-the Three Confucius Scenic Area
The Three Confucius Scenic Area includes Confucius Temple, Confucius Mansion, and Confucius Forest. It is a place used to commemorate Confucius throughout Chinese history and pay homage to the Holy Ancestor.
In the courtyard, there are numerous stone tablets from various dynasties, echoing the towering ancient trees everywhere, reflecting the historical solemnity of this architectural complex.
Confucius has gained a deep understanding and appreciation of the society by his arduous exploration of social practice throughout his life, gradually establishing the basic system of Confucianism. The ideology he founded has a huge influence in China and even worldwide.
2nd Stop. Taierzhuang- the Ancient City + Taierzhuang Battle Memorial Hall
After the tour in Qufu, our team started the journey to Taierzhuang.
The ancient city of Taierzhuang was first built in the Qin and Han dynasties, developed during the Tang and Song dynasties, and flourished during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is known as "the first village in China". Having experienced prosperity and the baptism of war, the Taierzhuang ancient city has risen again after seventy years, with a completely new appearance to re-develop.
The next morning, under the guidance of the tour guide, we once again experienced the other side of the ancient city. The numerous bullet marks on the walls of the building, as well as various historical facts in the exhibition hall, all reflect the brutality of the war. Next, at the Taierzhuang War Memorial Hall, the volunteer guide systematically told us about the experience of the Anti Japanese War in Taierzhuang. vivid pictures, precious cultural relics, and touching images took us through the baptism of blood and fire, which was deeply touching.
To start with full anticipation and end with rich harvest, a happy journey is always joyful and short. In the future, all of our employees will work harder to improve themselves, grow together, and share the future!
